Highly motivated and goal oriented, Kathie began her real estate career in 1989 after moving to Greenville from Jackson, Mississippi. Originally from Solon, Ohio, finding herself with her family in the deep South was a certain cultural change for all.
While in Mississippi, Kathie immediately got involved in her community women’s club and church. She was president of the Crossgates Women’s Club and a member of the executive board for three years. She also worked as her church secretary while living in Brandon.
The family move to Greer, SC in 1988, settling in the Silverleaf Subdivision. Again, immediately becoming involved in the community, Kathie became a board member of the home owners association.
Beginning her career in real estate in 1989, it was just natural that Kathie become involved in the real estate community. In 1994 she completed and passed the South Carolina Brokers exam and started brokering a small real estate office for a major franchise. In August of 2002, Kathie became company trainer and the broker of the companies largest office, where she continued a successful career until opening her own office in March of 2011.
Presently, Kathie serves as the Vice President of the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors, and is in coming President for the 2012 term. She serves on the state of SC Realtor Education Foundation and Professional Standards Committees.
Married to her husband John for 29 years, together they have raised three successful sons. Their proudest accomplishment is that all three sons, Chris, Sean and Tim have graduated from college, are married to three awesome daughters in law, Shelley, Lane and Brie and are all grounded in their faith. They are blessed with three beautiful grandchildren with two more n the way.
Grounded in her faith, dedicated to her family, and with knowledge, skill, professionalism and fortitude she welcomes the new opportunities that lie ahead.
